Why I Started Writing:

I’ve always been a communicator at heart. For many years, I shared messages of faith and transformation from the stage through Christian events, never imagining that God would one day call me to put those messages into a book. Again and again, audience members would approach me afterward and ask, “Where can I buy your book?” Over time, I realized what they were really seeking was a way to revisit the hope and truth they had encountered and to take it deeper in their own quiet moments with God. That’s when the Lord confirmed it was time to expand my reach through writing. What began as a step of obedience has become one of my greatest joys, another way to share God’s power to redeem, restore, and rewrite even the most broken stories.

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

I’ve always loved to read, usually juggling several books at once as I continually seek to learn, grow, and challenge my mind. With the exception of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, I’ve never been much of a fiction reader; my heart has always been drawn to books that shape the soul and stretch the way we think.

Among the many authors who have influenced my life in different seasons, several stand out for their wisdom and lasting impact: Max Lucado, Viktor Frankl, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Oswald Chambers, Corrie ten Boom, Billy Graham, and Rick Warren. I’ve also been deeply shaped by the timeless insights found in the classic Bible commentaries and teachings of John MacArthur, Charles Spurgeon, and John Calvin. Each has uniquely strengthened my faith, deepened my understanding of God’s Word, and inspired me to help others discover the beauty of His redemptive work in their own stories.

Books I Have Written:

Changing Your Story: Transforming Pain into Power is my first official book! While writing it, I found myself already envisioning several “next” books I can’t wait to bring to life in the seasons ahead. In addition to this debut project, I’ve created several digital booklets as free resources for the women I speak to at conferences and events.

One of these, My Part | God’s Part, provides practical tools for understanding what God asks of us and how to faithfully do our part while trusting Him with the rest. Another, Speak Life, is a Scripture-based guide encouraging readers to align their words with God’s truth and declare His promises over their lives. Each resource was created with the same heart behind my book: to help others experience the freedom, transformation, and purpose that come from a fully surrendered life in Christ.

What I'm Working On Now:

As I continue working on upcoming writing projects, I remain actively involved in ministry, speaking at events around the U.S., hosting my weekly Midweek Momentum podcast, and serving on a ministry board of directors. When I’m not writing or speaking, I love spending time on our family farm, enjoying the simple blessings of life and the joy of our five beautiful grandchildren. This season has been a meaningful blend of pouring out what God has placed in my heart while cherishing the people and moments that keep me grounded in His goodness.
